HIGHER STUDIES IN HUMANITIES
UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA
On the 3rd of February, Mrs Sweny Rokani, Manager, South – East Asia, University of Queensland had come to Pathways World School, Aravali to speak about higher study opportunities in Australia for undergraduate study.
She shared courses for the subjects of ESS, History, Geography and Psychology. She also talked about the various scholarships that are offered to International students, which depend not only on academic merit but also on co – curriculum and extra – curriculum activities. When it came to IB entry requirements, the students were delighted to know that the requisite scores were achievable and didn’t seem formidable. There was an interaction session post – presentation where various students asked questions to her and cleared their doubts , whether it be English language requirements such as IELTS and TOEFL , or maybe it conditional offers. There are a total of 5 campuses where courses ranging from engineering to law are taught by a rich and experienced group of professors. After the session, Mrs Sweny was given a token of appreciation which was handed over by the Head of Department of humanities, Mrs. Bhagirathy Jhingran & Guru Charan kumar. This would really help the humanity students in further research on colleges. It was a great pleasure to have her at Pathways and we received valuable information about the University of Queensland and Brisbane, Australia.
